Götze, Joseph, * 16. 2. 1566 Jägerndorf (Krnov), † 19. 5. 1622 Magdeburg. Magister der Philosophie, 1592 Rektor in Altbrandenburg, 1598 in Stendal, 1605 in Berlin und seit 1610 in Magdeburg, „poeta laureatus“.

u. a. Oratio de norma et forma disciplinae in scholis recte feliciterque instituendae et conservandae (1610). – Eine geistl. Komödie von Goliath (1616). – Renovatio gymnasii Magdeburgici cum suis programmaticis (1619).
